burrow’s mole pulling mail, docs, chat and code into a burrow you control

not shipped yet. the mole is impatient.

The problem

Being able to open Gmail is not the same as having your own copy, and a backup is not a backup until you have restored from it.

Decisions

  • Gmail first.
  • Restores are byte-identical IMAP appends (design note, 8 September 2026).
  • SQLite instead of Kafka, Redis and Temporal. It was enough.
  • Go, licensed AGPL-3.0.
